Canine Renal Dysplasia is a hereditary disease that affects a dogs' kidney development to varying degrees of renal dysfunction. The symptoms are extremely variable. Dr. Lori Wise has examining puppy kidneys by ultrasound for 17 years now in an effort to determine the presence of this disease. She demonstrates the ultrasound process, and discusses what both a normal puppy kidney looks like, as well an an abnormal finding.
